Quality content promotes success!
At Born Diverse, we specialize in translating your unique story into powerful, data-driven content solutions that inspire action and drive measurable success. We align every creative choice with your key performance indicators to ensure clarity, impact, and growth. Whether you're building a brand, launching a campaign, or transforming your learning environment, we connect purpose to performance—beautifully and strategically.
BornDiverse constantly seeks new tools and ideas to bridge the communication gap for those historically excluded from education.
Launched in 2022, Born Diverse began bringing complex ideas to life. Harnessing the company’s ability to explain some of the most complex and misunderstood concepts and procedures, we build educational experiences that connect indigenous, colonized, and other interested people.
BornDiverse has a clear and distinct mission of helping to create learning experiences that respect the land and the humans that inhabit it.
Founder/ CEO
Dr. Tamura Howard
Dr. Tamura Howard is a long time educator with over 25 years of experience helping connect people with information. A product of the community college system, Dr. Howard has a BA in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, benefiting from a connection to the sacred site of the Tongva people, Puvungna. As a Ronald E McNair Scholar, she walked the halls of the historically significant Ralph J Bunch Center and earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She’s taught in both CSU and UC settings, and currently teaches at Los Angeles Southwest College. A college that was founded after 15 years of ongoing advocacy by Odessa Cox and community members.
Steeped in the spirit of resilience despite challenges and with more than a decade of educational leadership, Dr. Howard has led the creation of strategic policies, analytical frameworks, performance metrics, data dashboards, allocation models, and integrated budgeting systems that drive institutional effectiveness.
After overcoming multiple traumas and life challenges, Dr. Howard launched Born Diverse in 2022, only to be diagnosed with breast cancer and kidney disease the following year. Now in remission and with an acute understanding of the impact of both ancestral and colonial trauma on the body and on land, she continues to find creative approaches to healing and learning.
